BioData PH (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website biodata-ph.com, a free resume builder for Filipino job seekers. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of our website and services.
This policy is compliant with the Republic Act No. 10173 — Data Privacy Act of 2012 of the Philippines and, where applicable, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Data we collect
Automatically collected data
When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical information through our hosting provider (Vercel) and analytics tools:
- IP address (anonymized)
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referring website or search query
- Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)
Information you provide
If you contact us via our contact page or by email, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without your explicit consent.
3. Your resume data
Your resume data exists only in your browser’s local memory while you are using the builder. When you close the tab or browser, that data is cleared. If your browser supports local storage and you choose to save your progress, the data is stored locally on your device only.
We have no access to, and do not collect, the personal information you type into the resume builder.
4. Cookies & tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the site and serve advertising. The types of cookies used on BioData PH include:
Essential cookies
Required for the website to function. These cannot be disabled and do not collect personal information.
Analytics cookies
Used to understand how visitors interact with our site (pages visited, session duration, traffic sources). Data is aggregated and anonymized. We use Vercel Analytics for this purpose.
Advertising cookies
Set by our advertising partners (Google AdSense, Adsterra) to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. These cookies may track your browsing activity across other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings or the NAI opt-out tool.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

7. Children’s privacy
BioData PH is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of BioData PH after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
